The 2006 Horticulture Power 50 catches the industry at a time of rapid change and stiff challenges. And time has not stood still for our list, either. Of last year's top five, three have moved on and one more is about to. Our former one and two, Margaret Beckett and Lord Bach, lost their responsibility for horticulture in last month's cabinet reshuffle, while Wyevale chief executive Robert Hewitt left in December.
