摘要

The following paper specifies the possible sources of dioxins (PCDDs/PCDFs) formation during the iron ore sintering process in a domestic integrated steel plant's conditions. The sintering process is the largest source of dioxins in the iron and steel industry. In order to discover the basic sources of PCDDs/PCDFs formation, analyses and balance calculations were carried out for chlorine and oil. Moreover the content of chlorine was presented in by-products utilized in the ore sintering process. The present paper is the first one to show the content of oil in the lubricants used for lubricating of the belt, moreover it includes balance calculations carried out for oil and analysis of the primary and secondary oil carriers in the iron ore sintering process. Based on the results of tests, basic sources of dioxins have been determined in the iron ore sintering process in one of the domestic integrated steel plants.
