摘要

The formation of intragranular acicular ferrite in low-carbon steel is investigated. It is established that non-metallic inclusions are the effective nucleation sites of the acicular ferrite. The nucleation of the intragranular ferrite at the non-metallic inclusions in a process competitive with the bainite formation at austenite grain boundaries. The important effects of the metallurgical factors on the microstructure modification and its relation to the improvement of received mechanical properties in the investigated steels are determined.
