Rolling and testing properties of ,,full hard' hot galvanized sheets produced in Sendzimir steelworks falling under the Polish Steelworks Association (PHS)

The paper presents the results of investigations of the rolling process as well as the properties of galvanized sheets destined for self supporting roof structures. Steel sheets of such type are not subjected to annealing and skin passing after cold rolling. The realized research as well as calculations of rolling parameters, together with testing of a zinc coating and mechanical testing after galvanizing, showed that the technological process employed in PHS-HTS cold mills guarantees to obtain the properties according to ,,full-hard" type standards.
