摘要

The paper contains calculation results of the effective thermal conductivity of a coiled steel wire as a function of coil porosity (distance number of coil), diameter, emissivity and heating temperature of coiled wire. The presented data were obtained from a numerical solution of mathematical model of conduction and radiation heat transfer inside coiled wire. Convection was neglected by the assumption that there was vacuum inside heating chamber.
