Radioactive contaminations of the raw materials, products and waste in the steel industry

The current IFM (Institute for Ferrous Metallurgy) activities and research work in the scope of the monitoring of the radioactive contaminations in the steel industry are presented. New bibliographical information and Polish legislative regulations are included. The radiation safety procedures and the first results of the measurements of the raw materials, products and waste Polish steel industry are shown.
