摘要

In general, concrete buildings require repairing or reconstruction due to environmental, constructional, and material problems. This is needed every few decades as these buildings are semi-permanent in nature. It has also been observed that the proportion of maintenance in the total investment in construction has increased in recent years and many reinforced concrete buildings that were built during the high-growth period for reinforced concrete construction are slated to be replaced in the near future. Such factors make it necessary to control the useful lifetime of these buildings.. For protection from degradation and as decorative materials, these buildings use paints, tiles, and stones as outer material. The protection from degradation can be made moreeffective by planned maintenance if it is possible to evaluate the protective effects of finishing materials on architectural structures.
