Research on Cyclic Mapping Model and Solving Approach for Conceptual Design

摘要

An ideal conceptual design model should support multi-level innovative design through rational mapping layer and mapping relationship. In this paper, five existing conceptual design models are reviewed from this perspective, and a new model which supports the alternation of cyclic mappings among functional decomposition functional solving and combination of solutions in turn is presented. Then the knowledge representation scheme for principle solving and the feature-based scheme for interface representation are discussed. Finally a cyclic solving approach to conceptual design is put forward, and an interface matrix is applied to facilitate computer processing.
