摘要

The waveform-relaxation (WR) method is presented for the analysis of MOS circuits. The aim is to apply relaxation directly to the system of non-linear algebraic differential equations describing the circuit. As a result, the system is decomposed into decoupled sub-systems of algebraic differential equations corresponding to decoupled dynamical subcircuits. Each decoupled subcircuit is then analysed for the entire simulation time interval. The decomposition achieved allows latency to be exploited in the most natural way. Then organization of a waveform-relaxation circuit simulator is described.
