Performance Improvement of Duty-Cycle Division Multiplexing System Utilizing Symbol Coding Customization

摘要

This paper looks at the novel method employed to improve the performance of the Duty-Cycle Division Multiplexing (DCDM) system. The proposed method involves signal processing and customisation of the signal at the transmitter side. This technique regulates the amplitude level of existing waveform into different levels in such a way that the appropriate eye-height is increased. The regulation is made possible based on the feedback received according to the condition of the received signal sent previously. This novel method enables a 7 dB improvement in comparison to the conventional model. In addition to that, performance for all transmitted channels is maintained in contrary to previous research outcomes.
