2011 outlook is still a mystery

Usually by this time on the calendar, the "personality" of the new dairy year has become clear enough that even I have an idea of what to expect during the rest of it. Not so in 2011. Here it is June already and I'm no closer to deciding what's in store for milk producers than I was in December. There's a tug-of-war going on in my head between cautious optimism and outright confusion, and so far no new status or forecast report from USDA has helped determine a winner.
