PILOT PLANT FOR ONE-MINUTE MOULDING PROCESS OPERATIONAL

Teijin's pilot plant for the production of carbon fibre-reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) components on the premises of its Matsuyama Factory in Ehime Prefecture, Japan, has started-up. The plant will employ the technology Teijin announced in the first half of 2011, which enables the production of a carbon fibre-reinforced automotive cabin frame in under a minute.
