PEEKS FIRST TO COMPLY WITH STANDARDS FOR OIL AND GAS

Ensinger says that its semifinished products made with Victrex PEEK resin are the first to achieve compliance for use in oil and gas applications according to EN ISO 23936-1:2009 and NORSOK M-710, Edition 3. ISO 23936-1:2009 addresses the resistance of thermoplastics to the deterioration in properties that can be caused by physical or chemical interaction with produced and injected oil and gas-field media.
