Consumer spending on herbal dietary supplements in the United States reached an all-time high in 2015. Retail sales of herbal supplements totaled an estimated ELLER6.92 billion in 2015 (Table 1), a 7.5% increase in sales from the previous year. Consumers spent approximately ELLER480 million more on herbal products in 2015 than in the previous year — an increase that marks the 12th consecutive year of growth for these products.
