摘要

A numerical study of special features of the critical flow of boiling-up water in short channels over a broad range of stagnation temperatures and back pressures has been performed within the framework of the previously developed model which is based on a conceptually new approach to description of vapor-liquid flows with a bubble structure. The ability of this model to correctly predict the effect of flow choking at the channel outlet and the regularities of transition to the critical flow regime, as well as to estimate critical flows without using empirical parameters and initial assumptions with regard to the critical flow nature is demonstrated.
