Early history, controversy, ethical dilemmas, and personal anecdote make for compelling reading.Many of us have difficulty remembering precisely what took place last week let alone in years gone by. Past events are seen through a personal lens and are bound to differ between observers, yet the more observers the better the truth comes into focus; group "memoirs" like this are important to historians.
