Workers walk over power plant safety fears

HUNDREDS of workers walked off site for two days at the new Staythorpe Power Station in Nottinghamshire last month in protest over an alleged safety breach. Up to 500 workers, who are involved in constructing RWE nPower's new combined cycle gas turbine station at Staythorpe, staged a demonstration that temporarily blocked nearby roads.
