Tractel (UK) Ltd is a subsidiary of the International Tractel Group. The Group consists of over 20 manufacturing and sales companies, which have a long and successful track record in providing solutions to all manner of materials handling, height safety and access problems. The main manufacturing companies are based in France, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Singapore, Canada and the USA. Tractel manufactures a comprehensive range of equipment grouped into three divisions: Everything began with a simple idea - the Tirfor - an ingenious winch, which pulls a wire rope just like a man with his hands. Tirfor machines are known on construction sites throughout the world, and fifty years later the Group still dominates the market for this type of winch.
