A year at the top

IN 2007 we must continue to support the HSE and local authorities to continue their excellent work in working with employer am employee partners to improve further Britain's health and safety record. This year will be even more challenging, as we will be operating within tighter resources than in previous years. We can be proud of our achievements over the past 30 years but we can't be complacent. Still too many people are being killed, injured and made ill by work. It is in these areas that we must concentrate our effort, not on the trivial risks but on the hazards that harm.
