Most experts agree that the ongoing global economic crisis will lead to significant social and economic (including structural) changes, which will more or less affect all developed and developing countries. The state policy and the nature of public participation in its development will significantly determine the content of these transformations and the way in which they will occur in each country. The global tendencies, as well as typical Russian features of changes in social reality, are analyzed, and the problems and conflicts that exist in relations between the Russian ruling elite and Russian society and on the solution of which Russia's future largely depends are indicated.
