Petro-Canada Loses C$691 Million in Q4

Calgary-based Petro-Canada reported last week a fourth quarter net loss of C$691 million, compared with earnings of C$522 million in the same quarter 2007.In the full-year, the company earned C$3.1 billion, up 15% from 2007.Downstream, the company lost C$457 million in the quarter, compared to earnings of $81 million in the prior-year quarter.
