Survey of the European fabric fairs for autumn/winter 2016/17

European fabric manufacturers exhibiting at the European trade fairs for the autumn/winter 2016/17 season reported that they had done good business at the fairs—in spite of the fact that economic and political problems have been affecting some of their important markets—as buyers are, increasingly, sourcing high quality fabrics for the global fashion industry from textile producers based in Europe. The organisers of the major European fabric fairs have been exploiting this demand by establishing fairs in other parts of the world, notably in China, Japan, South Korea and the USA.
