摘要

The paper deals with electromagnetic compatibility, more precisely with the problem of behaviour of 25 kV, 50 Hz traction supply system at Czech Railways which is represented by supply line 110 kV from contractor, by supply substation and contact line. The main problem, which is solved in this paper, is explanation of transient effects which arise during real operating and failure states of traction circuit. Detailed analysis of traction circuit and following modeling of traction circuit bring solution of protection design. This protection design is possible to utilize for traction circuit design which is very specific to its features.
