摘要

This paper describes the main elements of a multilevel architecture aimed at helping in the development of modular and reusable software process simulation models. The architecture is based on the principles of metamodeling of ISO's Information Resource Dictionary System and formalized using UML. The paper includes an example of how this architecture can be used to implement an operating software process simulation model using the Java language. The simulation model is built under the System Dynamics approach and helps simulate the software process within software development organizations progressing to CMM level 2.
