When heavy rains swept the north of the UK during the first half of 2007, pump and plant hire company Selwood found itself literally flooded with calls for its equipment. Rivers threatening to burst their banks and dams over flowing was only the beginning of a long period of helping to alleviate flooding problems and in the mammoth clear-up operation afterwards.
