WFS Wireless For Subsea, UK, explains how new integrated wireless solutions help to reduce cost and complexity of subsea pipeline and cable operations. WFS Technologies has recently launched a family of integrated wireless monitoring instruments for pipeline and cable integrity monitoring. These solutions store data on the condition of the asset and download it wirelessly to an ROV without wet-mating. They provide frequent access to operational data for early warning of integrity issues. WFS's subsea wireless Seatooth capability is pre-integrated to simplify the use of wireless underwater, addressing applications around pipeline and cable laying including pipeline pressure monitoring, pipeline temperature monitoring and depth of burial verification.
