Optimizing field production using multiphase and wet gas metering

The benefits of metering the contribution from each well in a field may be quantified by how efficiently the production system is utilized at any point in time,and ultimately by the overall field recovery factor.Recent studies by Statoil,Hydro and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD)show a 15% to 20% difference in recovery factor from subsea to platform wells.Multiphase and wet gas metering play an important role in closing this gap.
