PolyOne sells non-core resin assets to Mexican chemicals firm

PolyOne Corporation has agreed to sell its vinyl dispersion, blending and suspension resin assets to the $3 billion turnover Mexican chemicals company, Mexichem, for $250 million in cash. The assets, which are part of PolyOne's Performance Products and Solutions segment, generated revenues of $147 million in 2012.
