High anticorrosion chromate-free passive films made by titanate and waterborne polyurethane on galvanised steel sheet

摘要

Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have shown considerable potential in the coatings field. These materials exhibit the combined characteristics of organic polymer (eg flexibility) and inorganic materials (eg rigidity, high thermal stability, high refractive index). This paper explores the application of suitable non-chromate-based hybrid materials to develop a self-healing anticorrosion composition.
