In recent years, polyolefin shaped articles are being produced with higher rigidity and achieving satisfactory adhesion of coating films cannot be obtained from aqueous dispersions of chlorinated polyolefins used as primers, particularly under low temperature baking conditions at 80-90°C. In addition, primers also require very good gasohol resistance to be used on car parts.
