The United State's Secretary of the Interior has announced that the National Fish and Wildlife Service will invest a total of 280 million dollar in economic-stimulus funding for more than 830 projects across the country. The money will be channelled through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act brought in by President Barak Obama. The funding is designed specifically to aid ready-to-go projects to improve infrastructure, support habitat conservation partnerships and bolster conservation and fishery programs through hatcheries and wildlife refuges.
