Report:Shell,Aramco Studying Expansion of Port Arthur Refinery Capacity

Shell and Saudi Aramco are reportedly studying an expansion plan for their joint venture Motiva Enterprises LLC refinery in Port Arthur,Texas.If implemented,the plan would boost the refinery's capacity to 600,000 b/d,a 325,000 b/d increase on the plants current capacity,according to a Bloomberg report.Shell refused to comment on the report,saying that the company "does not comment on specific company plans." Saudi Aramco officials have not responded to correspondences seeking comment on the report.
