Gevo signs agreement for cellulosic isobutanol in SE Asia.

Chris Ryan, President and Chief Operating Officer of Gevo, signed a collaborative agreement on June 19 for a cellulosic biomass isobutanol facility in Southeast Asia with Malaysian government representatives. Gevo will provide competitively priced biobased isobutanol in Malaysia and is in the final stages of evaluating partnering with more companies. The new fermentation plant is planned to be built at the biorefinery complex in Kerith, in the state of Terengganu.
