The Canadian energy company has projected C$7.3B ($7.4B) in 2013 spending, up 9% from this year when the company under-spent by $850MM due to cost-reduction and profitability maximization efforts. Suncor Energy Inc. has set aside C$730MM ($734MM) for refining, and C$1.IB ($1.11B) for exploration and production. Suncor further projected average oil and gas production of 570-620K b/d, up from estimates of 540-580K b/d for this year.
