Air Liquide, Air Products to scale up two oxycombustion technologies.

Under the US Dept. of Energy's FutureGen 2.0 project, the French Ait Liquide has partnered with Australian Callide Oxyfuel Services to start up an oxycombustion pilot unit by the end 2011. This will be the first full-scale oxycombustion demonstration plant in the world. The unit will capture and sequeser 75 mt/d of CO2 from Callide's 100-MW coal-fired power plant in Queensland, Australia.
