According to the oil cartel, global consumption of crude will expand by 1.32MM b/d to 89.5MM b/d next year, in turn boosting demand for OPEC crude. Output from OPEC members, which account for 40% of global crude supply, is expected to rise 300K b/d to 30.28MM b/d in 2012. Non-OPEC countries will also raise output to 53.57MM b/d, up 680K b/d from this year's average of 52.89MM b/d. Russia alone will add 300K b/d in production to boost its worldwide leading figure to 10.23MM b/d.
