Biodiesel and renewable fuel RIN generation rose in Nov., while generation of renewable fuel credits came down 12MM credits to 1.04B total RINs in the same month. Biomass-based diesel credit generation also came down 44MM credits from Oct. levels to 126MM in Nov., while concurrent RIN generation similarly dropped by 15.9MM RINs on-month to 82.62MM. Total US biodiesel production for the month has been estimated at 69MM gal (1.64MM bbl), with 13.6MM gal of renewable diesel production, and generation of advanced biofuel RINs jumped 36MM to 111.5MM credits from Oct. to Nov. Last year saw the production of approximately IK gal of cellulosic diesel, resulting in the concurrent production of the country's first related RINs, approximately 1.7K in total.
