摘要

Denmark - already a leader in wind energy - could virtually eliminate fossil fuels from its electricity mix within a few decades, and from its transport sector by 2050, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 85%-95% from 1990 levels. This would turn a country that currently relies on coal, oil and gas for roughly 80% of its energy into a world-leading green economy, argues Green Energy - A Road To A Danish Energy System Without Fossil Fuels, a blueprint commissioned by the Danish government and authored by the country's Commission on Climate Change Policy.
