Russian state Gazprom has always refused to decouple European term gas prices from oil product prices - until now. E.On Ruhrgas, the pan-European gas business of German utility E.On and one of Gazprom's biggest customers, last week said the long-term take-or-pay gas it buys from Gazprom will in the future be partially indexed to spot gas prices.
