Gazprom Sales Slump

Gazprom's largest industrial customer in France, and one of its largest in Western Europe, has slashed its gas use. Norwegian firm Yara, spun off in 2004 from Norsk Hydro, said it will "temporarily stop production of ammonia and urea at its site in Le Havre" in northern France this week, and also reduce out- in Sluiskil. "Timing of restarts will depend on the developments in ammonia, urea and natural gas markets," it added.
