India, Indonesia Join Shale Gas Game

The Australasian shale gas spotlight is for now focused firmly on Australia and China, but India and Indonesia are waiting in the wings. Both have good reason to want to emulate the shale revolution that has transformed the North American upstream picture, given that growth in gas demand is expected to outpace supply over the next decade. But while the incentives for shale commercialization are huge, so are the obstacles.
