As Azerbaijan sets its sights on becoming a major gas exporter within five to 10 years,the country is being courted by a growing crowd of potential gas buyers.Over the past few weeks,Russia and Iran have each submitted proposals to buy all the future gas from the BP-operated Shah Deniz field,which is due to achieve peak output of more than 20 billion cubic meters per year(2 billion cubic feet per day)by 2015.
