Some of Europe's biggest wind turbine manufacturers are scaling back their European operations due to soft demand and refocusing on China and other growth markets. China and the US, the world's two biggest carbon dioxide emitters, are rapidly overtaking Europe as the top global powerhouses in renewable technology, and in the process are attracting some of Europe's biggest turbines manufacturers, including Denmark's LM Glasfiber and Vestas.
