Optimizing the product of nonzero functions

摘要

OPTIMIZING problems on the product of a number of functions are generally quite complex, even if each factor function is very simple. In this note, a simplified method is established for optimizing the product of non-zero functions. It is proved thatthe problem is equivalent to optimizing the sum of factor functions containing parameter coefficients and the optimal parameters are only taken as some special values.. Theorems 3,6,7 presented in this note show that the method is rather practical.
