Tilapia Update - 2003

The amount of literature directly related to tilapia culture, particularly the culture of Oreochromis spp., continued to be impressive in 2003. It was comparable to prior years during which the update has been prepared. As has been our practice in the past, papers in which tilapia are the experimental animal for tissue culture, investigations into basic physiology or where wild populations were the focus are not included in this update.
