The Center for Sustainable Shale Development (CSSD), a collaboration between environmental organizations and energy companies to advance best management practices for the development of shale gas resources in the Appalachian region, has certified integrated energy company EQT Corp.'s (Pittsburgh) Appalachian Basin operations. EQT has successfully completed a rigorous evaluation and verification process. CSSD certification confirms conformance with all 15 of the center's performance standards.
