Three for the road

In this issue of Western Transport we look at three rigids suited to the removalist market, the Hino GH, Scania's GB and Iveco's soon to be released Cargo Tector. There are many factors that go into making a suitable removalist vehicle. Most operators will be looking for airbag suspension, a sleeper cab, the ability to specify chassis length and a conversion to lazy axle in some applications. If they want to go to the extreme in defining a specification, they may even look at the carbon content in the chassis - low carbon chassis vehicles often give exceptional ride qualities and, importantly for a removalist vehicle, care for the load.
