Ortronics/Legrand and Berk-Tek, a Nexans Company, report that both of their 10 Gigabit copper channel solutions, NetClear GTX and NetClear GTS, comply with the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers 802.3 10GBASE-T standard, ratified earlier this year. A press release said that the two companies "were the first to guarantee two complete copper channel solutions for compliance to the 10GBASE-T channel specifications identified by the IEEE." NetClear's 10G copper solutions include the NetClear GTS (FTP) and NetClear GTX (UTP), both with 10GBASE-T support.
