The city of Prague proved to be a superb background for Wire Prague 2005, which was held October 24-26 in the Prague Congress Centre, the Czech Republic. Some 200 attendees and delegates were able to partake in the technical program, networking opportunities and social events. The theme of the program, "Advanced Technology for Global Markets," was the focus of the four organizers: ACIMAF (Associazione Costruttori Italiani Macchine per Filo-Italy), CET (Comite Europeen de la Trefilerie - France), IWMA (The International Wire & Machinery Association-U.K.) and WAI Inc. (Wire Association International-USA).
