Part 1 of this article covered the analytical study of the strain inhomogeneity in multi-pass drawing of bimetallic wires and rods. For the process of bimetallic wire and rods plastic, working on the basis of solutions by B. Avitzur about the bimetallic material flow in a conical converging channel, a quantitative indicator of strain inhomogeneity was developed for the product on the whole as well as for the core and the sleeve separately.
